When I first picked up this book I was super-distracted and not into it at all, but as I got going and started to really read it, I found myself laughing out loud! I had to put it down for a few days to attend to other things, but when I picked it up again I was so invested in the story and wanted to read until the very end.
As I sat down to read, the opening pages confirmed what I anticipated. However, as the story progressed, I found myself captivated by the unfolding events and yearning to discover who said what, and when.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this book simply for the pleasure of reading a charming tale. It really struck a chord with me. How often do we judge a book by its cover or pass someone by without giving them a chance? We truly never know who a person is until we take the time to say “hello” or simply listen to them.
